Become an active travel champion
Champions support colleagues with knowledge, advice and coordinating events. Each Champion receives an emergency cycle repair kit for their workplace, so staff can carry out minor repairs such as fixing a puncture and borrow a lock or pump.
Dr Bike – bike repairs
Dr Bike is an experienced mechanic who will come to your work site to check over employees’ bikes, making simple repairs and adjustments to make sure they are in good working order.
Bike maintenance training
A mechanic will come to you and teach staff how to maintain their own bikes.
Electric pool bikes
Like pool cars, electric pool bikes are for work trips, including travelling to meetings, client visits and making deliveries. You can trial a bike free for three to six months. At the end of the loan, you can apply for a 50 per cent match funded grant to purchase an electric bike.
Match funded grants
You can apply for a 50 per cent match funded grant to support sustainable travel measures, such as cycle parking and shelters, electric cargo bikes, business electric pool bikes, accessibility improvements and more.
Group cycle training
Help your employees build skills and confidence to cycle more with group cycle training for adults.
Trial e-cargo bikes where you work
If you work for an organisation in Bristol, you can take part in an e-cargo bike trial for a small fee and refundable deposit. E-cargo bikes are zero emissions and cheaper to run than petrol and diesel vehicles.
