On 5 February, Bristol City Council’s Transport & Connectivity Committee reviewed its City Region Sustainable Transport Settlement (CRSTS) programme, after the amounts allocated across the region were confirmed by the West of England Mayoral Combined Authority.

Bus Route 2

Proposed changes to multi-million pound transport projects to be considered

Bus Route 2 and Broadmead are two of six major projects, designed to improve sustainable transport options across the city, that are set to be reviewed by Bristol City Council’s Transport and Connectivity Committee when they meet on Thursday 5 February 2026.

Whiteladies Road project extended into the new year

Construction work, to prevent water from pooling and to improve walking, wheeling and cycling routes on the lower part of Whiteladies Road, has started up again after onsite investigations into underground drainage issues were completed.
