St Thomas Street's junction with Victoria Street

From Friday 6 March to early April 2026

Description of work and disruption

We need to close St Thomas Street’s junction with Victoria Street from Friday 6 March until early April 2026 to build a raised crossing point over the road that will be level with the pavement. This will not only slow down traffic at the junction, but will offer an accessible crossing point for pedestrians.

Access for pedestrians and cyclists

There will be access for pedestrians and cyclists, but cyclists will need to dismount.

Access for motor vehicles

Motor vehicles will need to go via St Thomas Street East, Mitchell Lane or Redcliff Street.

Access for buses

This closure will not impact bus services.
